Refund Policy

1. Who This Policy Applies To

Most of our customers buy as a business (for resale or commercial use). Some customers — for example individuals starting a brand without a registered company — buy as a consumer. The two have different rights:

  • Consumers have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal (Section 2) plus the warranty rights in Section 7. These cannot be waived.
  • Business buyers are covered by the commercial return terms below and our Wholesale Terms; the consumer withdrawal right does not apply to them.

2. Consumer Right of Withdrawal (14 Days)

If you bought as a consumer under EU/Hungarian law (Gov. Decree 45/2014. (II.26.)), you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason.

Online withdrawal function. The simplest way to withdraw is directly in your account. Open the relevant order in your portal and use the “Withdrawal from the contract” function (also available at your withdrawal page), then confirm with the separate “Confirm withdrawal” step. When you are logged in we recognise you and the order automatically — you do not need to re-enter your details. We send you a confirmation of receipt on a durable medium (by email), stating the content of your declaration and the exact date and time we received it, without undue delay.

Alternative. You may also send any other clear statement before the deadline — for example by email to info@888wholesale.co or using the model form below. You then return the goods within 14 days; we refund all payments (including standard outbound shipping) within 14 days of being notified, using the original payment method.

Exceptions (no withdrawal right): goods made to your specification or clearly personalised — including private-label production and custom artwork/branding (Decree §29(1)(c)) — and sealed goods unsealed after delivery where return is unsuitable for health or hygiene reasons. Where your country of residence grants a longer or different statutory period, that period applies.

3. Return Eligibility

Outside the consumer withdrawal right, we accept returns under the following conditions (our standard commercial window is 30 days from delivery via the portal RMA flow):

  • Items must be unused, unworn, and in original packaging with all tags attached
  • Products must be in resalable condition
  • Return must be accompanied by the original invoice or order confirmation
  • Custom or personalised items cannot be returned unless defective

4. Non-Returnable Items

Except where they are defective or where a consumer's statutory rights apply, the following are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Private label products with custom branding
  • Special order items made to specification
  • Products marked as final sale or clearance
  • Items returned after the applicable return window
  • Products without proof of purchase

5. Return Process

To initiate a return:

  • Open a return request in the portal (Returns & RMA) or email info@888wholesale.co
  • Provide your order number and reason for return
  • Await your return authorization (RMA) number
  • Package items securely with the RMA number clearly visible
  • Ship to the address provided in your RMA confirmation

Returns without a valid RMA number cannot be accepted.

6. Refund Processing

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, refunds are processed to the original payment method — within 14 days for consumer withdrawals, and within 7–10 business days for commercial returns. For a consumer withdrawal we may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you supply proof that you have sent them, whichever is earlier, as permitted by Gov. Decree 45/2014. (II.26.) §23(3). For wholesale accounts with established credit terms, refunds may be issued as account credits.

7. Defective or Damaged Products

If you receive defective or damaged products, contact us promptly. Consumers have statutory warranty rights (kellékszavatosság / accessory warranty and, where applicable, product warranty) that are not limited by this policy. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost. Photographic evidence may be requested; business buyers should report visible transit damage within 48 hours of delivery.

8. Exchanges

We accept exchanges for different sizes or colours within the same product line, subject to availability. Exchange requests must be made within the applicable return window. Additional shipping charges may apply for exchanges.

9. Shipping Costs

For consumer withdrawals, we refund standard outbound delivery; you bear the direct cost of returning the goods. For other returns, return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the return is due to our error or a defect. We recommend a trackable shipping service.

10. International Returns

International customers are responsible for return shipping and any customs duties. Returned items must clear customs and be received at our warehouse within the applicable return period. Refunds are issued in the original currency of purchase.

11. Dispute Resolution

If we cannot resolve a complaint directly and you are a consumer, you may contact the competent consumer conciliation board (békéltető testület) — for our seat, the Pest Vármegyei Békéltető Testület — or the consumer authority in your country of residence. Details are on our Legal Notice.
