Straps cross behind the back instead of looping the neck. It removes load from the neck entirely, which is the reason kitchens with long shifts specify it.

Cotton and linen blend with fixed cross-back straps sewn to the waist, no neck loop, a wide waist tie and two lower patch pockets with bar tacks. Cut in 70% cotton / 30% linen at 260 gsm Cotton Linen Blend, in an one size fit graded across One size.

The chest panel takes embroidery or a leather patch. Because there is no neck loop crossing the chest, the branding area is wider and cleaner than on a standard bib apron.
