GARMENT OVERVIEW
At 400 gsm the fleece stops draping and starts holding its own shape. Labels move to this weight when they want the garment to feel expensive in the hand before anyone reads the label.
Construction
Heavy loopback fleece, three-panel lined hood, chunky flat drawcord, reinforced kangaroo pocket and a deep 2x2 rib hem that sits below the natural waist. Cut in 80% cotton / 20% polyester at 400 gsm, in a relaxed fit graded across XS–3XL.
Specification
- Fabric: 80% Cotton / 20% Polyester, 400 gsm
- Fit: Relaxed
- Size run: XS–3XL
- Stock colours: Black, Heather Grey, Navy, Sand, Olive
- Unit weight: approx. 700 g
- Care: Machine wash 30 °C, tumble dry low, do not iron print
Who orders it
Premium streetwear drops and limited runs where unit price matters less than perceived quality. Also common in members-only merch, where a single heavy piece replaces a two-item range.
Branding
Heavy loopback takes puff print and high-density screen without the ink sinking into the pile, which is the main reason this weight is specified over the 320. Embroidery needs a backing on the body panel and that is handled in production, not quoted separately.
Ordering
From 100 units per colour. The fleece is knitted to order above 500 units, which shortens lead time rather than extending it. Confirm the colour card early, since heavy loopback dye lots are matched per run.
