Dyed after assembly, so colour settles unevenly along the seams and the piece looks worn before it is worn. That inconsistency is the reason to buy it.
Heavy fleece assembled undyed, then piece dyed as a finished garment. Three-panel hood, tonal drawcord and a softened hand from the dye bath itself rather than from an added wash. Cut in 100% cotton at 360 gsm, in a relaxed fit graded across S–2XL.
Premium labels and concept stores that want a small run to look hand-finished. Not suitable for uniform programs, because no two units match exactly and that is a defect in a uniform context.
Print after dye only, never before, since the dye bath would lift the ink. Tonal embroidery works particularly well here because the thread picks up the same irregularity as the shell.
From 100 units per colour, and expect a longer schedule than the standard fleece because dyeing is a separate finished-goods stage. Shade variation between units is inherent and is not treated as a fault on inspection.
